from corporate world drop out to creative director of my own business.

I spent the beginning of my education in the back of the classroom with the reading specialists because I had trouble with my b’s and d’s, and being told I would never be able to read higher than a first grade level, to graduating with a BA in English with a concentration in Journalism, and eventually started my first successful business with an engaged and aligned community - *all thanks to the beginning scribbles of a newsletter sent from my GMAIL.*

From an email list that pretty much consisted of my mom and my best friends to an open rate of around an average of 40% (this is v v good, I promise) of an organically grown community, the years of notebook hoarding and running pencils down to their nub is paying off.

Now, for almost a decade, I’ve been the founder, creative genius, marketing specialist, social media manager, client facing HWIC for my own business as well as helped guide *a ton* of conscious creatives on how to create content that connects with their community and run their business in a way that feels aligned to them.

I’ve been around the copy block for awhile.

My mom still has boxes full of pages from my early days as an aspiring writer, scribbling illegible words into spiral notebooks, and letting my imagination run w i l d (ahh the good old days).

I’m a forever student, constantly absorbing myself in subjects that range from quantum leaping to SOP research, and investing in programs that help me grow as a writer, wordsmith, and human. To me, writing is a direct source to the soul; I like to call it soul scribble™. When I work with clients, I use my intuition, education, and expertise to write from theirs.

When I’m not working with clients, I’m usually listening to a True Crime podcast, reading a book for my book club, watching a Twilight marathon for the hundredth time, forcing my fur children, Nola and Frankie, to love me as much as I love them, attempting to play the drums, or asking my husband a million and ten questions about the ways of the world.

One day I’m going to publish a book, one day.

Things I Dig

PitBulls (especially mine), coffee, and squats. Tattoos, any type of food, laughing until my face hurts, and empowering others. Being an Aquarius, collecting notebooks, counting crystals and paying it forward. Honoring my ancestors, talking to animals in my neighborhood, and waiting for Halloween. Curating my bookshelf to cohabitant with my houseplants, drinking coffee and talking shit. Olives, dark indie films, SVU (Benson+Stabler4E), and murder documentaries. Creating, teaching, and showing others how strong they really are.

Heavily influenced by Pamela Anderson, Topo Chico decor, and living out my Nonna dreams.
